Backpack Ripped Hollow

Day 1:

I met up with the rest of the group and we all drove to Ripped hollow. We start the hike around 1:00 PM on Saturday. On the way to the camp site we saw a water moccasin. It was black with yellow spots. I grab a stick with a fork like branches on it about 12 feet long. I moved the snake to the side so the rest of my group could pass. Then I turned it loose, we start back to our hike. A few I minutes later we herd a noise. Everyone turn around and looked. We realized that we were being followed by something and we could not see it. It was a sound of a hiss and old leaves cracking on the ground. We kept looking around we could not see anything. And then the attack! It was the water moccasin that we pushed out of the way, I was bit in the thigh the one of the guys I was with help me he ripped my pants open up to my hips and wrap my leg up next to my groin to help cut off the poison from going up to the rest of my body. We made camp at a spot that was level. The guy that was in my party that help me with the snake bit set up my tent. We are so far from any help that if the snake injected me with any poison I would die before I got help. So what we decided to do was wait till morning. If I was able to move and did not get sick we would continue with the hike. If I got sick then someone would go for help. The reason we decided to do this was because it has been over 2 hours since I got bit by the snake. I took off the bandage, it was not swollen but very sore I could not move it so they guy that help me I will call Bill. He help me set up my camp and help me inside my tent. Inside he help me change my pants because of the big rip in that he put in them to help me out. We went out side made supper around 5:00 pm set around the camp fire then I needed some more water for the morning. I went up the creek with my stripen to perfi some water. I step on a rock that looked dry and slipped right into the water. I had my last pair of pants on damnit! I finished up my water went back to my tent and changed I had a pair of shorts I can wear tonight so I was not to worried. I hung my pant up on a limb, they will be dry by morning. It was dark now so I went to bed.
